Las Buenas Nuevas

We recorded some new songs and re-recorded some old ones for our upcoming tape release on Heaven's Gate Records and Cleveland Continental. Noticeably better quality than our last recording thanks to Matt from Clevo's own Kill The Hippies. We will also finally have shirts available very soon and we'll be writing some new songs for a split with Dweller (Clevo fastcore) in the near future. In the meantime I'll try and put up a few songs for download.

Desde San Marcos, El Salvador...

Saludos! I arrived to El Salvador on Thursday to visit family as well as (hopefully) provide some sort of comfort to many of those who lost family members during the civil war in 1980. My uncle and I bought a bunch of presents and are throwing a party for an elderly home in a neighboring town. Next Thursday, March 24 marks the 31st anniversary of the assassination of Monseñor Oscar Romero, the archbishop at the time, which sparked a major feud between the Salvadoran military and the guerrilleros, leftists, and citizens. All religious nonsense aside, Monsenor Romero had the interests of the people and their human rights in mind when he ordered the military to put an end to their violence. That said, this was never about religion, but the lives of those who are powerless when opposing the government and it's agenda. Anyway, I'm done preaching (no pun intended)....

I've searched all over to find what the kids have going on here as far a music scene goes and I may have just found it. So I made a shitload of mix cd's with a bunch of Clevo bands on it and I'm going to pass them out at a show I found online tomorrow. Hopefully these kids enjoy it.

So I've decided to make a blogspot for Lucha Eterna due to the fact that we have no other profile on the web except our last.fm page. There's a lot of tabs and options and whatnot on here so I'll try and master this and hopefully post up some new tunes when we get them recorded.
